reduces inflammation amd promotes Healing
Aqua massage therapy is a relatively new massage system that uses flexible cushions filled with hot water. The client lies face up (supine), and the cushions instantly relax the muscles. The client also feels the warm water supporting their body. The therapist can then use these therapy cushions to work the muscles and joints with oil, and the client will be unclothed under a towel. Another unique development is combining stretch exercises with more traditional massage techniques. This treatment is particularly beneficial for anyone who has difficulty lying on their front, such as during pregnancy.
The Healing Touch!
The combination of heat, gentle movement on warm water cushions, and the therapist's hands provides relaxing relief from aches and pains, muscle fatigue, and stress. It relieves pressure, improves circulation, provides lymphatic drainage, and promotes a sense of overall well-being.
The Ultimate Relaxation - Gentle, Yet Powerful!
Aqua Massage Therapy is Versatile
One of the most remarkable aspects of aqua massage therapy is its versatility. The combination of heat and the unique support provided by the cushions makes it suitable for a diverse range of clients. It is particularly beneficial for those who cannot usually lie on their front, such as pregnant clients, individuals recovering from stomach or breast surgery, and those with certain arthritic conditions. This emphasis on versatility ensures that all clients, regardless of their unique circumstances, can benefit from this therapy.

INFORMATION YOU MAY NEED
Whether you play sports or not, overuse injuries can occur due to our daily activities. Sports and remedial massage can treat these injuries. We will identify the activities that may be causing the injuries and provide straightforward advice, treatment, and exercises to help. Making small changes can have a significant impact.
The amount and frequency of massages depend on your lifestyle and activity levels. A person training for a marathon or playing sports will likely benefit from more frequent massages than an office worker or stay-at-home mom. If your issues are minor, 2 or 3 treatments might be sufficient. Whatever your needs, we can help guide you in the right direction.
Everybody responds differently to pain, so our pressure is tailored to your needs. We aim to be sensitive to your needs and requirements and help you in the best way possible. Sometimes, your body may be slightly sensitive to massage, but it should not be unbearable. It is important not to suffer in silence; keep communicating with us throughout your treatment.
You may feel some soreness or fatigue in your muscles after the treatment, and you might also notice some bruising. These side effects are generally considered normal and should not cause significant concern. Importantly, they are temporary and should resolve within 24 hours. Additionally, these side effects are less likely to occur as you have more massage sessions.
Sports massage is suitable for individuals of all activity levels and can benefit anyone, not just athletes. Both men & women of all ages can benefit. Office workers often experience backaches, as well as stiffness in their neck and shoulders, making them ideal candidates for sports massage therapy.
Towels are used during the treatment, but you will be asked to remove clothing so that we can access the treatment areas. We require you to keep your underwear on. If you are more comfortable, you can wear a pair of loose shorts.
